And so it begins. Existing handsets have started to get Microsoft’s latest operating system. After yesterday’s report that T-Mobile in Poland was rolling it out in Poland, now we’re hearing that Lumia 535 users tied to T-Mobile in Latin America are now getting Windows 10 Mobile. Several users residing in the region are reporting that Windows 10 Mobile update is showing up on their handsets.
Windows 10 Mobile was released last year with the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL. The new operating system features an improved notifications system, universal apps platform, improved camera experience and much more.
The new operating system also brings Continuum, but it requires specific hardware to work properly which is not available on any of the existing devices.
