Windows 10 Mobile to reportedly launch by the end of September

Microsoft already confirmed that Windows 10 for desktops is set to launch on July 29th. However, other versions of the operating system will get a staggered launch, including Windows 10 Mobile. The software giant is yet to reveal exact information about the launch of Windows 10 Mobile, but in a presentation to one of its partners, the company revealed some details about the mobile operating system, as spotted by the folks at Neowin.

The leaked slide reveals that Windows 10 Mobile “SKUs will be available late next quarter.” This means that we will see the Windows 10 Mobile operating system ready for OEMs the end of September, with a launch soon after that — and we may get to see the next Windows 10 flagship as well during the same time frame.

The information leaked are for partners and OEMs, not for regular users. However, this timeframe should fit well within the company’s development cycle. This means that Microsoft will have roughly over two-three months to polish the mobile version of the operating system, and make sure it’s free of bugs and issues.

Windows 10 Mobile is already available for Windows Insiders in preview form. it’s not the perfect product but still give users an experience of the new features which are available in the operating system.
