Microsoft is busy pushing out updates all over the place today, officially announcing the Windows 10 Creators Update rollout, updating both the Windows 10 Anniversary Update and Creators Update production rings, and offering a new build for Windows 10 Mobile Fast Ring Insiders, upgrading to 15063.138.
What may be the most interesting thing about this new update is the reference, not to “Windows 10 Mobile,” but to what appears to be a new naming scheme:
April 2017 Update for Windows 10 Version 10.0.15063.138 for arm-based Phone Devices
Have we seen the last of “Windows 10 Mobile”? Is this the beginning of a shift to a new Windows 10 / Windows 10 on ARM paradigm? What the heck?
Anyway, if you’re on Windows 10 Mobile as a Fast Ring Insider, you can update your phones now.
