Windows 10 Mobile build 10512 is here

\n

Well we’ve been waiting and it’s finally here.  Microsoft has just released Windows 10 Mobile build 10512, and if you’re in the Windows Insider program you should be able to download it now.  We’ll have more soon, but Blogging Windows has a list of new features and bug fixes:

\n

\n

We’ve made quite a few improvements since the last build, but here are a few things that we fixed that were frequently reported by Insiders:

\n

General improvement in overall stability and performance.
\nYou can now set the Lock screen and background image from within the Photos app.
\nWe fixed an issue where apps installed on SD cards weren’t working after a reboot.
\nWe have improved Latvian and Chinese inputs.
\nWe have made improvements to the Kid’s Corner tile layout.
\nWe have improved reliability of Data Sense notifications.
\nModified Shape Writing algorithm to be less aggressive in suggesting contact names over common words.
\nResolved an issue where Camera would not launch when the phone was locked.
\nWe fixed an issue where notifications for incoming text messages weren’t appearing.
\nWe fixed an issue where the touch screen wouldn’t be responsive after ending a phone call on some devices.
\nAnd we fixed an issue where folder tiles have obviously overlapping text.

\n

\n

More soon, as soon as we get it downloaded!
