Windows 10: microsoft hypes the return of the start menu, more to come january 21st

On January 21st, Microsoft is set to unveil details on Windows 10 in a special invite-only event to select media outlets (we will be there live!). We are expecting Microsoft to showcase the consumer side of Windows 10. Up until now, Microsoft has focused on the enterprise side. To hype things even further for those of you who have been following along and participating in the Windows Insider Program, Microsoft has taken it to Twitter to get you hyped up for what’s coming.

In a short tweet, Microsoft says, “Keep on starting. The Start menu is back on #Windows10. More coming 1.21.15.” For those who haven’t been keeping up, Windows 10 features the return of the Start menu. The event will also see Microsoft unveil the January Technical Preview, which will be when the Windows Insider Program resumes with the release of a new build for testers. It’s currently unclear whether Microsoft will release the mobile iterations of Windows 10 on the same day, but we are expecting to hear more about Windows 10 for phones, and likely the launch of the Insider Program for Windows Phone. Stay tuned, we are just a few short days away!
