Windows 10 build 10130 receives security and fixes for top issues today. While many were expecting a newer Windows 10 Mobile build sometime this week, hopes were officially dashed by a tweet from Windows Insider build gatekeeper Gabe Aul earlier today. Perhaps, as some consolation, Gabe is announcing security fixes as well as some other fixes concerning top reported issues for Windows 10 Insider build 10130.

3 security updates for PC build 10130 today, as well as a fix for a few top issues reported in the build. Check WU for updates!

As for the for what the new updates address, there are few details to draw a conclusion.

  • Definition Update for Windows Defender – KB2267602
  • Security Update for Windows 10 Insider Preview June Update for x64-based System (KB3070675)
  • Update for Windows 10 Insider Preview June Update for x64-based System (KB3070677)
  • Security Update for Windows 10 Insider Preview June Update for x64-based Systems (KB3070641)
  • Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 10 Insider Preview June Update for x64-based Systems (KB3065820)

While the information is sparse for the updates, what is known from first-hand experience is that these updates will require a system restart. Unless you have the time to go through a restart perhaps you may want to wait to update your build, as Gabe doesn’t seem to implore the necessity of these updates.

We will update when have more information about the updates.
