Microsoft has just announced the release of Windows 10 19H2 build 18362.10024 to Slow Ring Windows Insiders. As usual, this is yet another minor update. It contains the patches from the most recent cumulative update for Windows 10 version 1903, as well as additional fixes that Microsoft says will help move Windows Insiders in the Slow ring to the final 19H2 build.
As a recap, the most recent cumulative update includes fixes for Windows Search, as well as security updates for Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge. We’ll also remind you that if your PC is ready to install the 19H2 update, an enablement package will be downloaded from Windows Update that turns on the new features in 19H2. This will changes the build number for the OS from Build 18362 to Build 18363.
Microsoft has yet to announce an official release date for the Windows 10 19H2 update. We know it will officially be named the November 2019 Update, and that it will be light on features. Third-party digital assistants on the lock screen, as well as an ability to quickly create an event straight from the Calendar flyout on the Taskbar are just some of the new features in the release.
