Win up to 0,000 when you enter Microsoft Game Developer Contest

Are you a game developer in need of some cash? Look no further than Microsoft’s Game Developer Contest. Microsoft is offering up to $10,000 for game developers who can create a game for Windows 8.1 or Windows Phone that is truly unique. Microsoft’s Game Developer Contest runs until March 20, 2015. A Microsoft panel will judge game submissions as follows:

  • 50% on game quality
  • 30% on game creativity
  • 20% on technical excellence

Any game developer from any other platform can submit their game for a chance to win. You can build a new game or port a game you’ve already created on another platform (Android or iOS). As long as the game is published to the Windows or Windows Phone Store, your game will have a chance to win.

The first place winner will receive $10,000, the second place winner will receive $5,000, and the third place winner will receive $3,000. There are also 10 honorable mention winners, who will receive $1,000 each. Contest winners will be notified on or before May 11, 2015. So submit your game entry now. For a complete list of rules, check out the links below.
