Finally, we have an official name, and an official date for the Windows 8.1 Preview. It’s set to launch on June 26th and will be available as a FREE download from the Windows Store for all Windows 8 and Windows RT users. So the question is, will you be previewing the new Windows 8 update in June, or are you going to wait until later this year when Microsoft push the update as standard?

Microsoft have been rather open recently about the companies plans with Windows 8.1. However they are yet to talk about specific features of the update, such as the rumoured Start Button and improved Start Screen and Charms Bar for desktop users. We can’t wait to test out the Preview in June, and we expect many others can’t wait either!
