Wileyfox Windows Phone is available for pre-order on Amazon UK – onmsft.com

Windows 10 Mobile may be dead and in maintenance mode, but that’s not stopping Wileyfox from selling the Wileyfox Pro, their new business-oriented Windows 10 Mobile handset. Noted by ZDNet, the device is now up for pre-order at Amazon UK, for roughly $252 USD, with a release scheduled for December 4th.

Though the device can’t be shipped to the US via Amazon, Wilefox Pro originally made a debut during IFA in Berlin earlier this year, and it’s a decently specced device. It comes with the Snapdragon 210 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a five-inch display. There’s also an 8MP rear camera on board, 2MP front-facing camera, 16GB of built-in storage, and removable battery. Interestingly, Wileyfox is also marketing that the device will be supported until mid-2020, which is when Microsoft plans to officially end support for Windows 10 Mobile.

Wileyfox is not the only company holding true to Windows 10 Mobile. As we have pointed out before, Trekstor’s new Windows Phone is getting crowdfunded for a 2018 release. Their device packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and a 13MP main camera, though still not very exceptional when compared to the Alcatel Idol 4S or the HP Elite x3.
