WhatsApp for Windows Phone gets a minor update, receives enhancements and bug fixes

For those of you who use WhatsApp (we know that there are tons of you out there who use this app!), you will be happy to know that there is a brand new update available for your Windows Phone device. This update is minor and simply adds various improvements and bug fixes.

The latest update bumps the version number to 2.11.500 and the change log simply says, “Various enhancements and bug fixes.” This update comes just days after the app was updated to version 2.11.494, also offering enhancements and bug fixes.

\

WhatsApp for Windows Phone faced a fiasco last month, as the popular instant messaging service was mysteriously pulled from the Windows Phone Store. Neither Microsoft nor WhatsApp issued a statement at the time. This happened on May 17th. The app returned on May 30th, but users of the app were frustrated. If you missed this (lucky you), you can read all about the fiasco here.

Hit the download link below to snag the app. Or update your app via the Windows Phone Store.
