WhatsApp, a popular instant messaging and voice calling app for mobile devices, has just received an update today for Windows Phone devices.
The update adds a few new features, including a new middle finger emoji, a quick sound for new chat notifications, and an improved search feature that lets users quickly find messages.
These features were previously available in the private beta version of the app for Windows Phone, but have been moved over to the main app after some testing has proven stability in the beta. The app also received support for Windows 10 Mobile while it was in beta.
If you’re interested, you can grab the updated app from the Windows Store from the link below. If you’re new, you can use the app totally free for the first year, but then $0.99 per year thereafter.
