WhatsApp Beta update brings detailed call logs and more

WhatsApp is one of the most popular instant messaging apps at the moment. If you’re a part of the WhatsApp Beta program on Windows Phone, you’ll be happy to know that it has received an update (via WMPU).

The new update brings a few new features on board, including the ability to check detailed call logs for the app. This means that WhatsApp displays complete information about the calls, including their duration and the amount of data used for it. Furthermore, there are new tones for the VOIP services in the Settings menu, allowing users to customize the call tunes on their handsets.

The complete change log for the latest beta update is not yet available. Whatsapp Beta is a closed Beta so unless you have access, you won’t be able to test it for yourself. Whatsapp has received some major improvements on Windows Phone recently, including the ability to make voice calls.
