Microsoft has finally rolled out the updated Weather app for Windows 8 and Windows RT, which was promised a week ago. Microsoft has already released new updates for its Bing Apps suite, which include Finance, News, Maps, Sports, and Travel.

“A few days ago we released a comprehensive set of updates to the Bing apps on Windows 8. The apps embrace speed and touch providing you with a fast and fluid way to delve into your interests and get things done. When we made the announcement we noted that the Weather app was on its way. Tonight we’re back to tell you that it’s here,” Microsoft stated in an official Bing blog post.

\

The updated Weather app now features weather by the hour as well as showcases the weather from the other part of the country. On top of that, the Weather app is now interactive and features a dynamically moving weather map. The cool part about this is that you get to see several categories such as satellite , temperature, precipitation, cloud cover, and radar with this new interactive map! The app also allows you to see weather conditions at ski resorts in 31 countries across the globe.

Hit the download link below to snag the updated app or simply update the app via the Windows Store if you have it installed already.
