Watch highlights of yesterday’s live Gears of War launch event here

Yesterday, the Xbox team celebrated the upcoming launch of Xbox exclusive title Gears of War 4 with a 3-hour live show hosted by Xbox Live’s Major Nelson, Paul Scheer, Jessica Chobot, Mr. Sark and Justine Ezarik (aka iJustine), along with several guests including The Coalition studio head Rod Ferguson. The livestream was broadcasted on both the Xbox One and the Xbox 360 as well as on Xbox’s official accounts on YouTube, Twitch or Beam, but in case you missed all the fun the Xbox team published today a 90 seconds recap of all the festivities that you can watch below:

Those of you who watched the full show may have learned a lot about the game’s story, weapons and multiplayer modes but there was also some cool happenings including giveaways, cosplayers and even some Gears tattoos. The Xbox team had many reasons to celebrate as Gears of War 4 is expected to be one of the biggest game releases of this fall season and early reviews of the game have been very positive so far. As a reminder, Gears of War 4 will launch worldwide on October 11 on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs but those of you who purchased the game’s Ultimate Edition will get early access starting October 7. If you haven’t done it yet, we also invite you to read our full review over here.
