Build 2013

Microsoft kicked off Build 2013 with a bang on June 26th, revealing Windows 8.1 Preview to the public and offering it to the masses for download. On June 27th, the focus shifted towards developers and if you missed the entire Day 2 keynote, you can watch it below!

The Day 2 keynote focused on Windows Azure and was geared towards developers. The keynote was presented by Microsoft’s Satya Nadella, President of the Server and Tools Business; as well as Scott Guthrie, Corporate VP in the Windows Azure group; Scott Hanselman, principal program manager for Windows Azure; and Steven Guggenheimer, Corporate VP of Developer Platform Evangelism.

During the Day 2 keynote, Microsoft revealed Windows Azure Mobile Services for cloud-connected app development on Android, iOS, and Windows. Microsoft also revealed Visual Studio 2013 and .NET Framework 4.5.1.
