VideoLan has rolled out an update to the VLC app for Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. This update is minor and adds navigation improvements, along with other minor fixes. Here’s what’s new in version 1.4.1:

- Use TagLib for getting Album Covers
- External SRT subtitles (from file picker) should work
- “Application flyouts” are on the left and not centered anymore
- Update several controls styles
- Update Artists page design in Music Library

As you can see from the change log, application flyouts are no longer centered in the app. The Artists page has also been updated in the Music Library. You can grab the free app from the download link below.
