VKontakte, the most popular social network in Russia, has teamed up with Microsoft to integrate Office 365 services on its website. According to a report from RBC.ru (via MSPU), the new partnership will allow Vkontakte users to open all types of Office documents uploaded on the social network without having to leave the website. On mobile devices, Office files will be opened in the Office apps, if they’re already installed.

For now, users won’t be able to edit Office documents stored on the website, though VKontakte representative Evgeny Krasnikov explained that this will be enabled in the future. The company currently claims 90 million monthly active users, with 77% of them on mobile devices. VKontakte also has an app for Windows 10 PCs and phones, which you can get from the download link below.
