Vivino Wine Scanner is the best wine app for Windows Phone 8.1 and you can download it now

Are you looking for a simple app that lets you take a photo of any wine label to see pricing, ratings, reviews, and food paring suggestions? Give Vivino Wine Scanner a try, a new app that was just released to the Windows Phone Store.

“We are excited to add Vivino to the ever growing list of apps offered to Window Phone users. Millions more people around the world now have access to some of the most sophisticated and useful information for choosing and enjoying great wine. The app, just like sharing wine itself, is a social and friendly experience,” said Joe Wilson, General Manager WorldWide Field Evangelism, Microsoft Corp.

Vivino is your partner in wine, helping you pick, remember, and share your wines to a community of more than 4.5 million wine lovers. You get to know your wines in seconds, receive personalized wine recommendations, and share experiences with your friends.

All you have to do is snap a photo, and use the app to recognize and save wines. The app will manually identify the few wines that are not immediately recognized and offer you prices, ratings, and more. If you like what you see, you can even save it for future reference.

Vivino was available as an app on Windows Phone 7 and has since been improved drastically for Windows Phone 8. Grab the app via the download link below. Enjoy!
