Microsoft is hosting a virtual launch event today in celebration of the Visual Studio 2013 release. Beginning 10AM Eastern today, Microsoft will share a number of news announcements around Visual Studio 2013 and the latest wave of tools for developers and development teams.
Soma Somasegar​, corporate vice president of the Developer division, will kick off the keynote event. This is a great event to follow if you are an app developer for either the Windows 8 or Windows Phone platform.
Pricing will remain similar to that of Visual Studio 2012. For those who have a MSDN subscription, you can already snag the RTM bits of Visual Studio 2013.
