Viber for Windows Phone updated with the ability to block any number

Viber is one of the most popular instant messaging apps available for all major platforms, and also give users the ability to make free voice calls to other Viber users over WiFi or cellular data. The app comes with Live Tile support, as well as the ability to pin specific chats to the Start Menu and much more.

If you happen to be a regular user of Viber, the app has picked up an update which brings a few new enhancements on board. With the latest update, users get the ability to block any number bothering them so they don’t get any message or call from them, as well as several new emoticons. 

Here’s the complete change log for the app:

  • Block any number
  • Added indication of new messages in chats.
  • New Emoticons 
  • Performance improvements

The app is available as a free download, get it from the Windows Phone Store.
