Vevo app has gone missing from the Windows Phone Store

App not available

If you search for Vevo in the Windows Phone store at the moment you will be disappointed. At some time over the weekend the app for official music videos was changed to “no longer published.”

It’s not known why the app is no longer published and any other details seem to be scarce. Many are asking whether the app is permanently removed or will soon return and if the app was pulled on purpose but at this point anything other than the fact that it isn’t available is speculation.

On Vevo’s webpage the there is no listing for a Windows Phone app in their app section but Windows Phone is still listed within their company profile.

Vevo’s Twitter account has been quiet on the issue despite users asking about the app no longer being available. We’ll have to wait and see to know if this is another app being purposefully removed from the Windows Phone Store or something else.
