United Kingdom to get Lumia 735 preloaded with Cortana on October 2

\

Microsoft’s recently announced Lumia 735 is all set to arrive in the United Kingdom. The company announced today that it will begin shipping the handset from October 2. Furthermore, the Lumia 735 will be the first Windows Phone handset to come with Microsoft’s digital assistant Cortana in Europe.

\

The handset will be sold for £20 on contract, and while the company hasn’t provided the off contract pricing, it should be around £220. In fact, you can already pre-order it from third-party retailers Clover, and Unlocked Mobiles.

\

For a recap, the Lumia 735 sports a 4.7-inch OLED display, a 6.7MP camera, and a 5MP selfie shooter. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, and 8GB of internal storage (which you may extend using a microSD card). It is running on the latest Windows Phone 8.1 operating system.

\

The handset will be available in green, orange, dark gray, and white.
