UC Browser for Windows Phone 8 updated, comes with Speed Dial pinning, Live tiles and more

UC Browser, an app that is being touted as the “best internet browser” for Windows Phone, has received a new update. With this new update, you can now pin your favorite sites to your Speed Dial, share your downloaded files to other devices via the same WiFi connection, and more.

“UC Browser is a leading mobile internet browser with more than 400 million users across more than 150 countries and regions. This product is currently available in 11 different languages on all major operating platforms,” UCWeb stated on their official product website. For those of you who want an alternative to Internet Explorer on Windows Phone 8, this browser might just be what you have been looking for.

This update bumps the version number to 3.3.0.358 and is available now for download. With this new update, you can pin your favorite websites to the Speed Dial feature – which can make it so much easier to quickly access your favorite websites. On top of that, you can easily pin certain app features such as “Downloads” to the Speed Dial, so you can quickly access your downloaded files. All you have to do is click the “+” button on the Speed Dial, go into Feature Recommendation and select Downloads.

You can also share your downloaded files to other devices via the same WiFi connection by simply going to the Download Management feature of the app and clicking on the WiFi icon at the bottom right corner. You can also access your websites with an improved site navigation and share your current location to your friends. The app also features a Live tile on your home screen to better blend into the Windows Phone theme.

Hit the download link below to snag the updated app. Let us know if you notice any other improvements.
