Alienware is set to release two new gaming monitors within the next two months—the Alienware 25 and the Alienware 27—that will feature a 360Hz refresh rate.

The Alienware 25 is a mid-range monitor with the aforementioned 360Hz refresh rate and full HD resolution. Covering 99% of the sRGB color range, the monitor has a response time as low as 0.5ms. This makes it an ideal monitor for competitive e-sports gaming.

The Alienware 25 features a hexagonal stand with tilt, height, swivel and pivot adjustment. And there is a retractable headphone stand.

As for the more higher-end Alienware 27, it boasts Quad HD resolution (2560×1440 pixels at 16×9). It comes with a default 240Hz refresh rate, and can be overclocked to 280Hz. The Alienware 27 also has a Nano IPS display with 1ms response time and 95% coverage of DCI-P3.

The monitor also features 360° ventilation and RGB lighting, unlike the Alienware 25. And the stand has all the same adjustments, too, along with the headphone stand.

Launch dates and pricing

The Alienware 25 releases in the US on September 7 at $449.99 USD ($569.99 CAD). The Alienware 27 will follow on October 6 for $649.99 USD ($829.99 CAD).
