Top Gun Expansion Now Available in Microsoft Flight Simulator

The much-anticipated Top: Gun Maverick expansion for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is now available as a free update. This comes after the Tom Cruise movie was delayed, and about a year after Microsoft teased the update at E3 2021.

In this update, you’ll see a new livery for the F/A-18E Super Hornet, inspired by the movie, as well as three training missions. Those missions will help you master radical flight training maneuvers, as well as unrestricted take-offs, split S maneuvers, and low altitude passes. Perhaps more interesting, though, is a carrier deck adding challenge, as well as a mission that challenges you to ascend into the stratosphere.

The update is hitting all versions of the game, including console, cloud gaming, as well as PC. And remember, the movie that inspired this DLC is now showing in theaters near you.
