The top-five free and paid apps in the Windows Phone Store as of November 24th

Instagram, Facebook, Kik Messenger, Pandora, and Vine. These are the top-five free apps currently in the Windows Phone Store. In the top-paid category, we see GPS Voice Navigation, Switch to iOS, MoliPlayer Pro, ArchiTech, and Readit.

Instagram, which rolled out a Beta version of their Windows Phone 8 app, is still the top free app in the Windows Phone Store. This highly anticipated app has bumped Facebook down to second place for a second week in a row. Microsoft has been rolling out updates for the Facebook app like crazy – this includes updates to the Beta version of the app. Vine remains in the top-five for a second week in a row.

GPS Voice Navigation, which is still the top paid app right now, provides turn-by-turn voice driving navigation with a choice of three map and routing providers. These providers are Google, Bing, or MapQuest.

Switch to iOS is an app that turns your Windows Phone home screen into an iOS home screen. This app costs $0.99 and is currently the second most popular app in the store right now. It is quite interesting to see a Windows Phone app that turns your system into an iOS look-alike snag a top spot in the top-paid list.

MoliPlayer Pro is a paid app that lets you watch full 1080p MKV video files on your phone with no overheating issues. The app features great organization of video and music files when browsing your internal storage or SD card.

ArchiTech is a paid app, which runs for $1.99, and is a popular and professional CAD and graphic application for Windows Phone 8. Somewhat of a “digital sketchpad,” ArchiTech is great for all sorts of designing tasks.

Readit, an app that was recently updated to version 1.2 with numerous new features (literally), rounds out the top five in the top-paid category.

Here are the top-five free apps in the United States based on popularity:

  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • Kik Messenger
  • Pandora
  • Vine

Here are the top-five paid apps currently in the Windows Phone Store:

  • GPS Voice Navigation
  • Switch to iOS
  • MoliPlayer Pro
  • ArchiTech
  • Readit
