Titanfall 2 is now available for Xbox One

Just a week after the worldwide release of the critically acclaimed game Battlefield 1, futuristic shooter Titanfall 2 is now available to download on the Xbox One (via Major Nelson). The new opus is once again developed by Respawn Entertainment and iterates with an even better multiplayer experience with overhauled matchmaking and the addition of a real solo campaign. Here is the game’s official description:

From Respawn Entertainment, the studio that brought you the award-winning Titanfall, comes Titanfall 2. In single player, an aspiring Pilot and a veteran Titan combine forces to save their own lives and combat a powerful enemy against all odds. Multiplayer offers brand new Titans, expanded Pilot abilities, and deeper customization to elevate the fast-paced and exciting gameplay fans expect from the series.

While the first game was only available on the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows, its sequel is the first game of the series to be released on the Playstation 4 as well. On the Xbox One, three editions of the game are available to purchase:

Earlier this week, we reported that Battlefield 1 appeared to be a huge seller, debuting at #1 in UK’s sales chart. While both Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 are published by Electronic Arts, we can’t wait to see how second game will sell over the week-end.
