Three new 2-in-1 ‘E FUN’ tablets running Windows 8.1 announced, all for under $300

Three new 2-in-1 E FUN Netbooks announced, all for under $300

E FUN is increasing the number of its Nextbook 2-in-1 tablets running Windows 8.1 with three new models; a 10.1-inch screen, 11.6-inch screen and a 12.5-inch screen. All Nextbooks include a detachable and backlit POGO keyboard, along with 2MP front and rear cameras with microphones. The detachable tablets are powered by a quad-core Intel Atom processor Z3700 Series running at 1.8 GHz, 2GB DDR3L system memory with 64 GB of internal storage (10.1-inch model only has 32GB of internal storage), which is expandable up to 64 GB via a microSD port.

The 10.1-inch model comes with a one-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365 with 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage. There is a one-year subscription to Skype, with 60 minutes of Skype minutes per month. These E FUN Nextbook 2-in-1 tablets will be available in May 2015. The 10.1-inch model (with 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365 and Skype) will cost $229.00, the 11.6-inch model will cost $249.00, and the 12.5-inch model will cost $279.00.

Here are some other features of the E FUN Nextbooks:

  • Standard USB port on keyboard
  • Quad-Core Intel AtomTM Z3735F Processor (X86, 1.8GHz)
  • Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity options
  • 2 MP front and rear cameras with microphone
  • Micro USB port, mini HDMI port, audio jack
  • 3-axis g-sensor for apps and gaming
  • Preloaded software including Nook for Windows 8

These new Nextbook 2-in-1 tablets will be on display at the Consumer Electronics Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center on January 15, 2015.
