These are the top schools that can land you a job at Microsoft

Microsoft is one of the largest corporations in the world, dealing with computer software, hardware, and services. Microsoft, which is based in Redmond, Washington, has over 101,914 employees worldwide as of March 2014.

So which schools are the best choice for landing a career at Microsoft? Well, the answer may or may not surprise you. In an infographic by Wired, we get to see the top schools that end up sending their graduates to the top tech companies. These tech companies include Microsoft, along with Yahoo, Amazon, Apple, Google, etc.

A large amount of graduates from the University of Washington end up landing careers at Microsoft. The Redmond giant also welcomes large numbers of graduates from Washington State, Western Washington University, and the University of Waterloo (Canada). These are all big name schools and are your best bet to land a career at the devices and services giant.

Want to land a job at Apple? Going to school at Stanford is your best option, as well as San Jose State. Yahoo seems to love graduates from Berkeley, Stanford, USC and UCLA (Southern California). Google seems to take its picks from the top engineering schools, such as MIT, Stanford, UCLA, and Carnegie Mellon.

You can take a look at the infographic by hitting the VIA link below. Do any of our readers attend any of these schools?
