The Witcher 3 next-gen edition will get a physical release on January 26th

Insider Gaming has reported that The Witcher 3’s next-gen update will get a physical release later this month. The physical release will include both Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. As the Complete Edition of the game, this physical boxed release will include the base game as recently upgraded for next-gen, along with all content released thus far.

Apparently the box release will also include some bonus goodies including an “exclusive compendium, stickers, and a map.” It releases on January 26th for $34.99 USD. The info was first leaked “by a particular online retailer,” according to Insider Gaming’s post:

CD PROJEKT RED is planning a physical release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition for late January 2023. It will be available both for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The box will include a disc containing the base game and the Hearts of Stone & Blood and Wine expansions. All official DLCs and upgrades released during the last seven years by CD PROJEKT RED will also be part of this set — including the free next-gen update, featuring dozens of visual, performance, and technical enhancements (including ray tracing support, faster loading times on consoles, a variety of mods integrated into the experience, and much more). The box will contain only the aforementioned disc. Price and availability are determined by retailers in each territory.

If the info proves accurate, this would be quite a deal especially for those who have yet to explore the Continent as Geralt of Rivia.
