Dell has unveiled their thinnest and lightest 12.5-inch two-in-one device that features an “innovative magnetic connection” allowing you to seamlessly transition from laptop mode to tablet mode — sounds just like the Surface, right?. The device features an UltraSharp 4k UHD 3840 x 2160 display, including Corning Gorilla Glass. The device is also built with premium materials like magnesium alloy.

“Get down to business with the power of a laptop and flexibility of a tablet. The new Latitude 12 7000 Series 2-in-1 features an innovative design, all the latest industry-leading features and is surrounded by purpose-built accessories for ultra-mobile productivity,” Dell explains.

When it comes to specs, the Latitude 12 7000 Series 2-in-1 device features a 6th generation Intel Core M processor (models range from 2.2GHz to 3.1 GHz), SSD PCIe storage, and USB Type-C docking connectivity for power, video, audio, and data. The device also features 4GB or 8GB of memory.

“For more than 20 years, Latitude products have been a leading choice among commercial customers worldwide for their unmatched security, manageability, reliability and support features,” said Kirk Schell, vice president and general manager, commercial client solutions, Dell. “With the new Latitude line, we are delivering commercial devices employees will desire for being thinner, lighter and more capable than many of the most popular consumer products without compromising on the security and manageability requirements of IT.”

The Latitude 12 7000 Series 2-in-1 will be available beginning early February 2016 on Dell.com in the United States, starting at $1,049.
