Most Xbox players interact with search engines on a daily basis, they might be looking to get more games or just sourcing for more information about a particular entry. As it happens, Microsoft is now making the process easier and seamless for gamers.

In a detailed gamer’s guide, the company highlights how gamers can leverage the new AI-powered Bing capabilities to get responses to any queries they might have regarding video games and more.

What exactly will AI-Powered Bing assist you with while gaming on Xbox? Well, besides furnishing you with more complete answers and access to a better search experience, gamers will also be able to leverage the tool’s chat experience to get detailed responses to queries as well as the added ability to create content.

According to the Xbox team:

The new AI-powered Bing is designed to help you find the information you’re looking for by deciphering intricate questions, with clear answers, coupled with surprisingly in-depth responses. It also knows a hell of a lot about video games. So much so we wanted to really test its gaming knowledge with some hard-hitting questions to see what type of response we’d get.

Xbox highlights 5 cool ways you can leverage Bing’s capabilities to further enhance your gameplay. First up, you can ask the tool to shed more light on a particular issue regarding a specific game.

For instance “Tell me about the best cyberpunk-style role-playing games on Xbox.” And as per the image shared the information relayed was refined and tuned to the user’s liking.

Next, gamers can also use Bing to make well-informed decisions. For instance, when in search of the best gear loadouts, it might be difficult to narrow down seeing as to how the web is jam-packed with lots of information.

Bing allows you to make queries subsequently and through the interaction, it leads you to the most suitable option. Get started by asking it  “What’s the best ______ for me?”

What’s more, you can use the tool’s AI-powered technology to uncover hidden gems in any video game. For instance, you can ask Bing to help you locate where every secret weapon location is in Fortnite. You can even use it to dig further into things that you might not have registered as accurately in mind.

Additionally, Bing can now give you a recap of a video game’s storyline by asking it to “Give me a recap…” of whatever game. And finally, you can ask the tool to show you how to perform certain tasks while playing a game by asking “How do I…?”. Here’s a list of queries that the Xbox team provided as examples:

  • “How do I make a cake like the one that appears in Portal?
  • “How do I make a toy sword based on a design found in Skyrim?”
  • “How do I prepare a meal based on the ramen recipes found in Yakuza: Like a Dragon?”

It should be noted, that despite asking hyper-specific questions the new Bing will have some follow-up questions to ensure that it gets you as close as possible to what you are looking for.

It is also important to ensure that you remain interactive with Bing, Microsoft notes that it may have “an ancillary topic related to the game you’re asking about.”

Users will be able to dig deeper into responses they feel resonate with them most, this is because Bing highlights the sources where it’s getting information from. Of course, you need to have access to the new Bing in preview to access these capabilities. If you’re still stuck on the waitlist, make sure your birth date is correctly entered in your Microsoft Account profile.
