Telegram updates on Windows 10 with night theme and more Telegram Passport options

Telegram Desktop updated to Version 1.3.13 on Windows 10 devices earlier today. This latest update to the popular messaging app introduces a new method for exporting data, a night/dark theme, and a variety of refinements to the recently launched Telegram Passport feature.

Here’s the full release notes:

Export data from individual chats using the ‘…’ menu.

Added a new night theme.

You can now assign custom themes as night and day themes to quickly switch between them.

Telegram Passport now supports more types of data including translated versions of documents.

Improved password hashing algorithm to better protect Telegram Passport data.

Telegram is a messaging app that’s popular amongst tech and crypto circles due to its emphasis on privacy and security and support for numerous device including Windows phones. It’s hardly a little kept secret though and, earlier this year, surpassed 200 million users worldwide.
