Surface Touch Cover gets a reduction -- now under half price in the UK

For anyone looking to get the most from their Surface, a keyboard is a must. Sure, you can use a Bluetooth keyboard if you feel so inclined, but for the true Surface experience it makes sense to invest in a special design keyboard/cover combo. Sadly the official Touch Cover and Type Cover are, ordinarily, quite expensive.

Surface owners in the UK are in for a treat a. The price of the first generation Surface Touch Cover has been slashed to just £44.99. As the original price was £99, this means the cost has been reduced by more than half.

The Touch Cover can be used with both Surface and Surface 2 and is available in a choice of two colors — cyan or black.

This is the only keyboard cover that is reduced in price. The Touch Cover 2, Type Cover and Type Cover 2 are all full price. At the moment, there are no price cuts outside of the UK, so US customers will also have to part with the full asking price. It is possible that special prices will be introduced in other markets in time for Christmas or the New Year, but there is not official word yet.
