Microsoft has just concluded a rather amazing education focused event, with a number of announcements around Office 365, Teams, 3D, Minecraft for Education and Windows 10 S, but the big news of the day of course was the introduction of the Surface Laptop:
Microsoft’s web pages are updating as we speak, but here’s a screen capture of the Surface Laptop specs:
As you can see, the newest member of the Surface family will sport either a 7th Generation (Kaby Lake) Core i5 or i7 processor, three integrated SSD options (128, 256 or 512GB), and comes with Windows 10 S.
If you want to run Windows 10 Pro however (and why wouldn’t you?), Microsoft is offering a free upgrade to Windows 10 Pro until the end of the year, and the Surface Laptop will come with a free one year subscription to Office 365 Personal.
