Surface Hub app now lets you disable the Windows button on your Surface Pro 3

Surface Hub app now lets you turn off the Windows button on your Surface Pro 3

Microsoft has rolled out an update to the Surface Hub app for Windows 8.1, adding a few new improvements and capabilities for those of you who own a Surface Pro 3. You can now disable the Windows button on your Surface Pro 3, making it easier than ever to utilize the pen for drawing or writing and not having to worry about accidentally triggering the Windows button.

Microsoft first released this app back in October and the initially release only included Surface Pen related settings. Now, you can finally disable the Windows button, for those of you who find the button placement to interfere with your drawing or writing. Disabling the button doesn’t remove the option to access the Windows key on your keyboard, CTRL+ESC, or the Charms bar.
