Microsoft is making its top-of-the-line models of the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 available, beginning today. The Surface Book, a 1TB / Core i7 / 16GB RAM / dGPU model is on sale now for $3199, and the Surface Pro 4 with the same specs is now $2699. According to a post on the Microsoft Devices blog, both models will be available in the US  and Canada, although neither model is showing up on the Canadian Microsoft Store site (you can buy Surface Books or Pro 4s, just not in this top-of-the-line configuration.)

The Surface Book is on sale through online Microsoft Stores and “select retailers”, and the Surface Pro 4 is selling through Microsoft Stores, online and in person, and also at select retailers.

In addition, Microsoft is introducing a new gold Surface Pen, available in Canada, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the United States. The pen offers the same 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity, and the Surface Pen Tip Kit, but features the new gold color to make “a bold statement as a colorful complement to your Surface.”
