Earlier this week, Microsoft announced two Surface Book 2 models with 8th gen Intel Core i5/i7 processors, powerful NVIDIA GPUs and up to 17 hours of battery life. These latest additions to the Surface family of devices won’t ship until November 16 though, and in the meantime you can expect the original Surface Book to be discounted at various retailers.

In the US, the Microsoft Store has yet to slash the price of the Surface Book as well as the version with Performance Base, but you can already find pretty great deals on Amazon, including a $999 discount on a high-end model with an Intel Core i7 processor and the NVIDIA discrete GPU. You can find the most interesting deals below, please note that all these Surface Book models are sold by a third-party retailer and there are very few units left at the time of this writing:

  • Intel Core i5 processor / 8GB of RAM / 128 GB of storage – $859
  • Intel Core i5 / 8GB of RAM/256GB of storage – $1,045
  • Intel Core i7/16GB of RAM/512GB of storage/ NVIDIA dGPU – $1,700 ($999 off)

For those of you who live in the UK, the Microsoft Store is selling the base Surface Book model with an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage for £1,199 (£250 off). For £1,799.20 (£449.80 off), you can also get the Surface Book with Performance Base with an Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage and but twice more storage and the NVIDIA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M GPU.
