Surface 3 owners, don't try to install Windows 10 build on your tablet

It’s been a few days since Microsoft Surface 3 went on sale. The device starts at $499, but it may actually cost you higher than this if you decide to buy additional accessories such as the Surface Pen and Type Cover. If you’re a proud owner of the tablet, you must be tempted to install the Windows 10 Technical Preview on the tablet.

However, we’d recommend you to stay away from it for now as it’s not a really wise move. Neowin reports that Windows 10 build 10074 doesn’t work too well on the tablet with the system hanging frequently as well as unresponsive touch screen.

Upon further research, there’s a thread on Microsoft’s answers community where one of the moderators have requested users not to install the update as there are no drivers for the preview build from Intel. The moderator assured that Intel is indeed working on drivers which will work with the new chipsets and processors for the preview build.

If you tried to install the Windows 10 Technical Preview on your Surface 3, let us know about your experience and if you came across any bugs or issues with the build.
