As part of a cross-promotion with the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker movie which premieres next week, the popular Fortnite video game has added several skins and items from the movie for gamers to grab from in in-game item shop.
The three more-prominent items are the skins for Rey, Finn, and a Sith Trooper (1,500 V-bucks each or 3,500 V-bucks for the set), each appearing as they do in the new film. A First Order Tie Fighter-inspired glider (1,200 V-bucks), a “Traitor!” emote (300), and a Resistance Thumbs Up emote (200) are also available, as are Rey’s staff (800) and a Riot Control Baton (1,200) as alternative axes.
As a nice bonus, free First Order and Resistance account banners are available for free, however, they can only be gifted to other users and not claimed. This means that to get these, you’ll need to ask a friend to gift you one.
In addition to these new items, all players who attend the in-game Rise of Skywalker event on December 14th at 2 PM ET will receive an exclusive Tie Whisper Glider as seen in the below clip.
