The Star Wars Battlefront II petition has had a pretty wild ride since it started just over a month ago and it’s now reached and passed the 100,000 signature milestone, currently sitting at 100,578 at the time of this writing.
This fan campaign’s mission has evolved recently beyond its initial aim of getting more content for Star Wars Battlefront II after its final major content update and now includes the continuing of the Battlefront franchise among its goals.

Interestingly, EA confirmed this week that they are planning to release more Star Wars video games in a very big way going forward though it’s unclear if any of these will carry the Battlefront brand name.
