Stage 2 Studios’ Lifeless Planet comes to Xbox One

Stage 2 Studios’ Lifeless Planet has made the jump to Xbox One and is out now as Lifeless Planet Premier Edition. The 3D action and adventure platformer is set on a, you guessed it, lifeless planet that shows mysterious signs of being previously inhabited by humans and is shrouded in mysteries which the player must uncover with the use of their limited-use jet-pack and mobile robotic arm.

Here’s the official description:

Lifeless Planet is a third-person action-adventure that features an old-school sci-fi story and spectacular environments in the spirit of classic action-adventures. After a hard landing on the planet, the astronaut discovers the planet that was reported to be rich with life is instead a barren wasteland. When he goes searching for his crew, he makes a more startling discovery: evidence that humans have already been to this planet years ago! When he comes upon a deserted Soviet-era Russian town, he struggles to make sense of his mission. Explore 20 unique and atmospheric environments on a vast and treacherous planet.

The game is deliberately slow-paced and may not be for everyone. However, those after a more relaxed gaming experience with an old fashioned Sci-Fi story may want to check it out. How do you like your Sci-Fi games? Thought provoking story or balls-to-the-wall action? Let us know in the comments.
