Spotify for Windows Phone updated, rename playlists, delete radio stations and more

Popular music streaming service, Spotify, has updated its app for Windows Phone today introducing some welcome new features that frequent users will certainly appreciate.

In version 5.1, users may or may not notice some overall performance improvements made when using and navigating around the app. The latest update also gives users the ability to rename playlists, which is significant as the content of your playlist changes over time and requires a name change. You can also now delete radio stations that you are no longer interested in listening to anymore. Another new addition is scrobbling support to Last.fm.

You can grab Spotify v5.1 right now over at the source link below, or check for updates directly on your Windows Phone. Spotify has come a long way on Windows Phone, but we can’t help but wonder if it would still be around had Zune not gone crashing down.
