Sonic Dash makes its way to Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone

Sega has launched Sonic Dash, one of their most popular titles featuring Sonic the Hedgehog, for both Windows and Windows Phone devices. As a player, you have to make sure Sonic runs as far as possible, avoiding obstacles, face bosses and much more. It’s not just Sonic, players also get the option to choose other characters from the Sonic Saga, including Tails, Shadow and Knuckles.

The game description reads,

Play as Sonic the Hedgehog as you dash, jump and spin your way across stunning 3D environments. Swipe your way over and under challenging obstacles in this fast and frenzied endless running game.

The game also comes with several abilities “to dodge hazards, jump over barriers and speed around loop de loops. Plus defeat enemies using Sonic’s devastating homing attack!” As you progress with the game, you can unlock, win or purchase several power ups such as head starts, shields, ring magnets and unique score boosters.

It’s available as a free download on both Windows and Windows Phone. Head over to the respective store and download the game. Also share your thoughts about it if you’ve already tried it.
