Windows Phone

For those running Windows Phone 7.8 on their smartphone, an issue came up a few days ago regarding the Live Tiles not being updated or using too much data, creating a bug that needed to be fixed right away. Microsoft is aware of this problem and is working on a fix.

The issue has since been identified by Microsoft and was revealed in a recent tweet from Microsoft’s own Joe Belfiore, who stated: “We identified a minor issue where some 7.8 tiles stop updating and we are working on a fix now.” As for an update, who knows what type of update it will be and how messy it will get, since Windows Phone 7.x does not do over the air updates like Windows Phone 8 can. But the bottom line is, if you are on Windows Phone 7.8 and are experiencing this issue, an update is on its way!
