New rumours are circling the web stating that Microsoft are currently internally testing a Skype app for Windows Phone. Microsoft recently announced plans for Skype to be integrated into Windows Phone soon, could the company be starting now?

WP7Lab.com reports via unnamed sources that they have received reports stating that Micosoft is currently internally testing a Skype app for Windows Phone. The source claims that Microsoft employees get to internally test their apps before publicly releasing them, which does go without saying.

Invites to join the beta are said to be send out in the next few weeks, around the same time of the Windows 8 beta actually.

Microsoft is expected to launch Skype across all its major platforms, thats Windows 8, Xbox 360 and Windows Phone soon! Skype was bought by Microsoft for $12.5 billion last year.
