Microsoft has rolled out Skype 2.10 for Windows Phone 8, which finally brings forth video messaging. Microsoft has also addressed several bug fixes and made it easier to access your settings from the home screen.

“We’re excited to announce Video Messaging is now available to Windows Phone 8 users in the Skype for Windows Phone 8 update released today. The launch of Video Messaging on Windows Phone 8 marks another step forward in Skype’s Mobile Future journey to bring great Skype experiences across devices,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.

With the new video messaging feature, Windows Phone 8 users can record and share personal video messages via Skype. In order to use this feature, simply open up a conversation in Skype and tap the appropriate option to record a video message.
