SkyDrive Pro app for Windows 8.1

For those of you who use SharePoint 2013 or SharePoint Online via your Office 365 subscription, Microsoft has released an update to the SkyDrive Pro app for Windows 8.1. In this update, Microsoft adds the ability to view photos in-app, upload folders and all files, open and save files from other apps, and other unnamed bug fixes.

SkyDrive Pro is cloud storage for employees as part of Office 365 or SharePoint Online, for those that didn’t know. You need to already have a SkyDrive Pro account in order to use this app. Once you log in, you can access, view, and upload documents as well as create new folders and share your content with others.

“SkyDrive Pro is cloud storage for employees as part of Office 365 or SharePoint Online business subscriptions. You need to already have a SkyDrive Pro account to use this app. This app does not support on-premises deployments of SkyDrive Pro. If you’re storing your files on SkyDrive Pro, they are just a tap away with this app,” the app description reads.
