For those of you who use SharePoint 2013 or SharePoint Online via your Office 365 subscription, Microsoft has released the SkyDrive Pro app for Windows 8 and iOS. This comes after Microsoft recently released the SkyDrive Pro desktop application for Windows.

“We are pleased to announce that the SkyDrive Pro apps for Windows 8 and iOS are now available in the Windows Store and Apple Store respectively for SharePoint Online users in Office 365. After signing in to your Office 365 account, you can access, view, and upload your documents from anywhere,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.

SkyDrive Pro is cloud storage for employees as part of Office 365 or SharePoint Online, for those that didn’t know. You need to already have a SkyDrive Pro account in order to use this app. Once you log in, you can access, view, and upload documents as well as create new folders and share your content with others.

Microsoft revealed back in May that over 250 million people are using the SkyDrive cloud storage service. The SkyDrive Pro app is the perfect companion for those who use the service and run Windows 8 or Apple’s mobile iOS platform.
